I had bought this Oneplus **R just less than * years ago.
I had bought it's official Insurance plan from OnePlus Care app (had read all the terms and conditions there) which was from Servify (they were official partners of OnePlus who handled their Insurance section)
The Terms and Conditions on the OnePlus Care app clearly stated that there are a total of * eligible repairs for Accidental Damage for * years from the date of plan activation. Just this, nothing extra was mentioned.
The Insurance Plan started on **th March **** and will end of **th March ****.
I had made the first repair on around **rd March **** which was more than a year after I bought the Insurance plan. Now when I am going for another repair they are denying service, stating that in the Terms and Conditions of their website only * claim per year is applicable and that my next repair claim can be done after **rd March which is after my Insurance plan expires. So effectively they will not repair my phone anymore.
The issue is they are having * sets of Terms and Conditions. The OnePlus Care app where I bought the official OnePlus Insurance plan from is having different sets of Terms and Conditions from the OnePlus Website.
The Terms and Conditions on the OnePlus Care app has * subparts under BENEFITS VALUE section, while the terms and conditions on the OnePlus website has * subparts under the same BENEFITS VALUE section.
The extra point on the website mentioning that per year only * claim is applicable. I have clear evidence of this discrepancy in Terms and Conditions.
OnePlus is saying they aren't partners with Servify anymore. So why is the customer being harassed ? And how come when they were partners the Terms and Conditions were different ? Also, if OnePlus website T&C are to be followed, why didn't OnePlus officials say to their partners to mention that "please head over to OnePlus website to read the T&C and only then buy the plan from us, do not read T&C from here" ?
Even OnePlus customer care representatives are accepting that it is their fault, but they are saying they can't accept the claim.
So what kind of a Scam is OnePlus carrying out ?
