Dear Happy Locate team
Kindly note that we availed of your services on ** March for Mover & Packer ( booking done by me in name of Mr. Ankur Grover) and due to the below mentioned points, a case will be filed in respective civil courts & also the consumer courts.
I. Pre movement
A. *. First of all , I was correctly told by the sales team that your ops associate will call us * day before the shifting
*. * day before Ms Monica calls & says ** cartons will be provided and anything extra will be charged. Then she says okay I will inform the team to bring only ** cartons and nothing extra! I told her how the remaining stuff would be transported. This alone should have indicated the low IQ & caliber of this person
*. I told Monica that pls transport by furniture properly packed and this was informed to your sales person also. She said we pack all major items in foam sheets.
II. During movement
*. Next day in the middle of shifting I am told by Monica that since the recliner is not fitting in stairs, this will not be moved by the team. I am also told by your mover & packer staff that they will not move the recliner as it does not fit in the service lift. In fact i was told by one of the staff, how the supervisor Nagmani had instructed the staff to not carry the recliner.
*. Ms Monica also told me that since the truck is a little far from the lift, the extra charge would be Rs. ****. When I asked her what is the logic of demanding **% extra on the day of shifting she had no answer & told me movement will not be done till that **** is paid
*. Insufficient packing material & torn foam sheets- I had to provide my own foam sheet as there wasnt enough to cover the furniture & on my protest Monica simply said we got the standard **-** sheets and nothing can be done. My material was not packed properly, study table was packed with bubble wrap, beds were packed only half and when I protested I was told by Monica that it is standard. She says but you haven't taken insurance on study table, have you?
*. Your supervisor Nagmani was also rude when I politely requested him to put more wrapping material on the beds. Same for recliner.
*. When the team tried to put the recliner in the lift, it got a little stretched and I immediately raised an alarm because I saw the tear with my own eyes , and that was because the recliner was not fully covered with foam sheets. When I informed Monica, your team member simply said it was damaged beforehand and asked me to supply photos to prove that it was not torn beforehand ! I could not find the tear at that time, but I did find it later. When I asked your shifting team to please put the plastic if not foam sheet on the recliner to prevent further damage, your supervisor mocked me and said - this is joke packaging.
*. Your supervisor was constantly on the phone throughout the shifting and was not at all receptive to any requests for proper packing and frankly - he was a busy VIP.
III. Post movement nightmare with Aman and Monica
*. Your team misplaced the tool kit and hence told the bed and other things cannot be put together. We agreed to that
*. I discovered the torn blue sofa and when I told Ms Monica regarding the same, she msgd that her shift timings are over now and didn't answer any calls and said she will email regarding the same in * working days. I am yet to receive that email till today
*. I asked her the charges for keeping the cartons as the team & we both were tired and what I was told by Monica - charge mentioned was about Rs. *** per carton and when I called to ask details around it she continued disconnecting my call.
**. Only when I requested multiple times of shift incharge, she gave me number of Aman
**. Neither Aman nor Monica informed that damaged need to be informed with ** hours, only when I asked the same I was told
IV. Pending bed installation, sofa installation, lamp etc
**. Next day at about ** pm I receive a call that they are coming for bed installation.Nobody from your team even called & asked me for an appointment for the same Some other installation work was happening in the house at that time Does your team think we have nothing to do and they can just barge in without prior appointment?
**. On ** March Wednesday when i asked for support - I was told the team would come the next day.. Fair enough
**. On **th March your team was to come at * pm, I took leave for all pending labor work that day. I was told by Monica they will come by *** pm which was confirmed by them twice. I got a call from the carpenter also that he will reach by * pm. Then suddenly I get a call from Aman that the team cannot find nuts & bolts and hence they will come tomorrow! I also got a message from Monica that repair work and installation work will happen together the next day. And who will account for my leave today ?
**. Please understand my house is a mess, first your team misplaces the tool kit and then they can't find nuts and bolts in the entire Bangalore to fix a bed ?
**. I was later told by Nagmani that they were actually told by Aman to do a different job and that was the reason
**. When I called Aman, it was a torture as he started blaming me for this and said I am not understanding. Kindly tell me, since * days I have been waiting for a pending bed installation and now your team cancels at the last moment ?
**. Am I supposed to take leave and do this work every day just because your team wants to optimize their visits? Damage and pending installation is not my responsibility and Happy locate is not doing me a favor by repairing ! I can only get the repair work done in spare time but essential jobs need to be completed which your team should have done on the same day !
**. After a lot of abuse and blame, and when I asked him to share the escalation matrix, he immediately agreed to send the carpenter. Now suddenly the nuts & bolts were found!
V. Easy fix torture
**. For **th March * pm, I had scheduled time with your easy fix team. I had requested the same person who was uninstalled to come and Syed was assigned. But your team sent a different person than for whom I got a message . Each time a new person comes, your team sleeps and the technician keep calling me for the new location. Why is happylocate then charging premium over easy fix rates?
**. When the person came, he could not install either TV as the soft drill was not there & AC he could not install as he didn't have a core cutting machine but he inspected the place. Also he gave different quotations for different AC placements in the room which I had said I will confirm post discussion with family.
**. The TV person who came did not have the soft drill
VI. Repair work - New house damaged & brown polish spilled all over the walls of new house & on showcase
*. During repair work, carpenters came & inspected with prior appointment
*. Next day gave me an appointment for *** am & they turned up nicely at * pm that day, & I had clearly told Aman that I have to head out
*. He kept crying foul throughout & tried to blame me as to why I am not getting the work done & why I am not understanding
*. I gave appointment for next day & now when they came, they came almost on time. Good news one would think! No. They spilled paint all over the walls& my showcase
*. Also it seems for the cane chair cushions & the office chair no instructions were given by Aman, rather he denied the carpenter to repair these things & asked them to stick to scope of work
*. After spilling of walls when I raised this spilling of walls issue & the issue of cane chair cushions & office chair, he started screaming at me badly - & said why did you not supervise properly when carpenters came to your home. This was really the end of my trying to understand your team as they were torturing me everyday on daily basis with these kind of arguments and this was the best one.
Wow. Is this my responsibility?? Due to all this I am now suing your company for mental harassment while I was shifting into a new home.
VII. Carton collection - Nobody came to collect cartons
- When your team came for pending installation they said they will collect the cartons during pending repair work
- During repair work again the cartons were not picked up
- Till date nobody has come to collect & please note there is no space in the house
- Last Saturday on ** April your carpenter called & said they will reach at ** pm & nobody reached yet again!
-When I called them I got a message saying they will come next day
- Well no call or message received & now if nobody is coming to receive these cartons on ** April at * pm, I will be throwing these cartons. More than * month has passed
VIII. Insurance fraud: Claiming of insurance & Overcharging of insurance
*. Time & again I asked your team for claiming insurance on the dining table
*. There was no response from Aman on this
*. Finally I have been shared an insurance document for Rs. *** when I have actually paid Rs. **** ++ for insurance
*. The items that I had mentioned to Ms Monica are not even mentioned in the insurance document & a very generic item list is added to it.
*. I kept asking Aman on the day of repair also as the carpenter said they will have to cut wood on dining table from all * sides - regarding how to claim insurance but he said he will check & get back.
This is complete breach of trust & fraud in the name of insurance.
Due to the above mentioned reasons- mental harassment, negligence, insurance fraud, extortion , & shoddy services by your company, you will now be taken a court of law.
