I got my Tata Nexon XZ+ model vehicle on June *rd, **** from SGA Tata Motors, Coimbatore. The next day itself battery drained out completely and we requested for on-road TSA service, the car was jump started and then we were said by the SGA service center CRM that this vehicle doesn't have any problem we can drive it peacefully. But by *th June, **** the battery drained out again. On *th they took the vehicle to service center and kept there for more than a week and returned it saying there is no problem in battery and it is a software defect/a diode missing and they've requested for that diode from Tata Motors. After that I took the vehicle to Bangalore and I didn't drive the vehicle for one day it's battery drained out again. I again had to call the TSA assistance to jump start. Now I am back in coimbatore on **th June and on **th June the battery drained out again so I called a mechanic from outside and he checked and saw the battery has discharged some liquid and there is lot of powdered substance. On **th June, we took it to service center they mentioned this is not a battery issue and confirmed it as a manufacturing defect and have seen this is * other vehicles, which was not told to us before and the CRM confirmed that he will get the vehicle ready by *rd July, and will have it delivered back to home but that didn't happen and now the trust is broken. On *th July they've confirmed this happened across ** vehicles on the call. Till now the vehicle is there in the service center.
I bought the vehicle for my personal use but I've not driven it properly without any tension. I always drive as if the vehicle will breakdown in middle of the road/highway.
This vehicle was bought with my savings and from my father's retirement money and when asked for a replacement they refused and said they don't do such things after they delivered the vehicle to us even after they confirmed it is a manufacturing defect.
Also the backseat doesn't fold down because the button to fold the seat is also not there. Seems like vehicle is already a defective piece and our concerns seems to be ignored. Also the CRM of service center is very adamant on his statements and have talked rudely to my dad, and later we had to escalate this to the GM and DGM of the dealership to get proper updates but even today we've to call them to get updates.
Within a month I've been under a lot of stress and family is undergoing stress and tension because our concerns are not met and the services provided by this dealership is very poor. We had postponed multiple trips and functions because the vehicle is always with the service center from the day I bought it.
I've lost all hopes whether the vehicle will work in perfect condition again and also even if I had to sell this it is a vehicle with manufacturing defect and lot of work has been done with that I am at loss as well.
I've not idea what needs to be done I've raised a complaint with Tata Motors toll free number and ticket has been created for the same.
