I used Mobikwik app to transfer funds to CoinDCX to buy crypto currencies. Last transaction was done in January ****. When CoinCDX stopped taking funds from Mobikwik, I uninstalled this Mobikwik app. I never used any credit facility from this app.

In August ****, I received message from Mobikwik that, there is one transaction from my account, if it’s not done by me, then click on the link given, when I clicked the link, nothing appeared.

Later on *st September **** I start getting message from Mobikwik to pay Rs. ****.**. I informed the company that I have not done any transaction. I also complained to company’s fraud alert team.

The company asked me to file police complaint. I informed them that this is happened due to data leakage from company, so they should do the procedure.

From that day, I start getting daily harassment calls from Mobikwik employees, messages and mail from lawyer to pay the amount. This amount is increasing every month. Now the amount payable showing Rs ****.**.

Now, they have damaged my CIBIL. I never missed any credit card payment and any EMI and my CIBIL was above ***. But due to action of Mobikwik, my CIBIL is badly damaged and this is defamation and I am considering to filing Civil as well as Criminal cases against the management of the company.

In my CIBIL report, a loan from Transactree appeared from July **** with sanction limit of Rs. *****.**. I have not taken any loan from this company also, never applied to them for loan.
Later I found that this is done by Mobikwik.

It was responsibility of the company to secure the data of the customers. If the scam is done by any third party, then how the data of my account number and mobile number reached to the scammer? This is clear indication that the company has failed to protect the customer data or there is possibility that company’s management and/or employees are involved in this scam. I will demand enquiry in company’s affairs.

I hereby demand that, remove this transaction from my CIBIL along with your Tranactree bogus loan entry. Also I demand apology from the company for the harassments, threats given on time to time from their representatives. I will not pursue for defamation case, if this is done within ** days. Otherwise, I have no option to file complaint against the company to various regulators and inform the fraudulent activities of the company to its prospective investors.
