Hi Team,
I purchased a * door wardrobe online with Pepperfry at INR **** as the wardrobe was looking pretty decent one in the images shown on the website and dimensions for the ply wasn't mentioned anywhere in the product details.
After the product was delivered I found that the back ply of the wardrobe was just *mm ply and the quality of wardrobe was not up to the mark as it was looking in the images shown in the website.
The secondary issue was that there was a scratch also on the wardrobe which I also informed the carpenter the same day.
So looking at the quality issue, I decided to return the product as it was way too low in quality as compared to the price I paid, plus the minor scratch in the front of the wardrobe.
As per their return policy, I can return the product within * days so I initiated the return on the same day(Today is a second day).
However the customer care lady rudely denied my return request that it's not possible because that's how the product is though they didn't mention the dimension of the products in the product details online.
I also mentioned about the scratch in front, she said that our delivery boy and carpenter nowhere mentioned about the scratch so not possible.
I further asked her to zoom-in the images they have taken, you will find the scratch and I also mentioned this to the carpenter the same day. She rudely said I will not check the pictures again and return request is rejected.
I felt very humiliated, frustrated and helpless.
I hope you please look into the matter as the earliest.
