I was using the services of airtel broadband connection from last * years. In July, I made a request in airtel asking for the relocation of my broadband connection from one society to other in the same city as I was shifting to a new society. Airtel informed me that airtel connection is not possible in the new society due to some reasons only known to airtel. As I already paid the amount for the whole year, airtel customer executive assured me that the amount will get refunded to me in my airtel money account. They asked me to raise another request for same, so I raised one request. They assured me that they will do the procedure and I will get the confirmation for same in next ** hrs. Then I waited and waited for complete week and called the airtel customer care following the whole long process to reach the executive and then spend my ** min in explaining him the whole issue and then again he assured me that someone is going to contact me in next * hours but again no one contacted me.. and this whole scene continued for * weeks and then one day I called them again and they told me that refund will be initiated in next ** days after closing of my connection and I was okay that atleast I got some confirmation and I asked them where will I get my refund and they told me that from the source payment was done. Then like a stupid I waited for ** to ** days and still there was no mail no communication and then I called again and then explained the whole * hour story **th time to new executive (like always) and he told me that ma'am it will not take ** days will take ** days. And then I called them again told the whole story and this time I got a very fresh response that ma'am your CHEQUE has been initiated to your address and will take ** days to dispatch and then I asked on which address and they informed me on the address where connection was installed (from where I have moved out * month before).. I was so shocked and told them that as I had to move out from that society this whole situation of refunding is happening and how can you send any cheque to the address where I am not living any more without asking. Then she informed me to write a mail to there email ID. And then leaving my all work I dropped a mail asking for refund in my account not via cheque.. then I waited for response and after so many follow up mails and calls they told me to send them a cancelled check and account details so that they can initiate the request and then again I did whatever they told me.. After so many days I got a call from airtel informing that they have initiated my CHEQUE and I was so angry and told that lady whole scenario and then she told me that she have initiated my refund in my account and I will get a mail as well. and Yes I got a mail in which it was mentioned that NEFT has been initiated on last Saturday.. I waited for my refund thinking that okay by Monday or Tuesday this whole drama will be over.. But NO, I got a very beautiful mail from airtel today that ma'am your cheque has been initiated and will reach to you in ** days on the address where I am currently not living...... And then I dropped a mail and called them like an idiot and they assured me that by **AM tomorrow they will provide me with a SOLUTION.....
I haven't mentioned a lot of conversations with airtel in this complaint. I am mentally and physically tortured by airtel. I really want to sue them for this treatment. They think that I really don't have any other job except calling and mailing. I have never experienced this type of service from anyone.
I have all the mails from airtel. If required, will forward them. Request you to please help me with this..
