my family and i moved from hyderabad to bangalore on **th may ****. we wanted to select agarwal packers and movers as our preferred carrier (http://www.agarwalpackers.com), however due to a misspelling on google we got the reference of agarwal packers (http://aagarwalpackersmovers.in). this was a fraudulent, unprofessional packer and mover who has stolen my tv and threatened me with burning my cargo.
the fraudulent agarwal packer (http://aagarwalpackersmovers.in) uses the same html wireframe, templates, images, certifications etc which are all fraudulent. this gives the consumer the incorrect picture and we get lured into using these fraudulent carriers as our packers and movers of choice.
the website of the fraudulent agent:
the website of the original agarwal packers & movers:
i had requested a quote for moving half my luggage within hyderabad to another location and for moving the rest of my luggage to bangalore. the person from the fraudulent agarwal packers came to my house in gachibowli hyderabad and provided a quotation of rs **,*** for both the movement within hyd and from hyd to blr.
the agreement with the agency was the full spectrum of packing in hyderabad, transporting to bangalore and unpacking in bangalore. me and my family were asked by the agent to pay rs **** upfront and the remainder of rs **,*** post delivery.
on **th may the first leg of the transport within hyd was made and an additional rs **,*** was asked which we paid promptly. in addition, we also paid rs **** and rs **** for the packing and unpacking. of the rs **,*** we had already paid rs **,***.
the packing began in hyd on **st may, and suddenly the quote increased from rs **,*** to rs **,***. please find the image attached:
we agreed to pay the insurance premium as well, however an additional gst of **** and escort charges of rs **** were added (which was omitted during the quote). the gst included the tax for insurance premium which was also incorrect.
there was a delay by the agent loading the truck by * days from **th may till *st june. we had to stay for * additional days in a hotel in bangalore. the agent then called us up and asked us to transfer the remainder of rs **,*** to make the delivery. the original discussion was to make a payment of rs **** and the remainder of rs **,*** to be paid after unpacking in bangalore. despite us paying rs **,*** advance we were asked to pay another rs **,*** (a total of rs **,***) to be paid. the agent threatened to burn my luggage if i did not pay up.
we were forced to pay another rs **,*** (minimum) to ensure that the agent doesn’t burn my luggage. we paid rs **,*** (now a total of rs **,***) and the agent shared the number of the truck driver so that we can coordinate with him to retrieve our luggage.
the truck was sent to my location in bangalore on *rd june (morning ** am). the truck driver continued asking me to pay and whether the payment had been completed.
the truck arrived at my location, the driver had flouted traffic rules and had to pay the traffic police (who had taken away the truck manifest). the truck driver asked me to pay the traffic police rs *** to get the manifest back and only then will he be able to unload the truck. i paid rs *** to get back the manifest. the total i had paid till now was rs **,*** to the agent.
the unloading began and the luggage was dumped in the drawing room. the agent then asked me to pay up another rs **,*** before verification of the full unloading. i told him that i will pay once the unpacking has been completed.
the agent then left immediately without informing me or even taking my signature on the consent form (pictures below without my signature):
i have a child of * months and had to setup the bed so i had to get the unpacking done through another vendor unnati packers and i paid them rs ****. during the unpacking i realized that the agent had not unloaded my tv set (costing rs **,***). on calling up the agent he told me that we have to pay rs **,*** and only then will he return the tv. he is currently absconding with my tv set. the truck that he had come in was – ka ** c **** and the driver’s telephone number is +** ***** *****. on doing further research i found that the fraudulent agarwal packers and movers had outsourced the transport to a ‘supreet logistics’ and the driver and the truck who are absconding with my tv set is supreet logistics because the fraudulent agarwal packers did not pay supreet logistics.
there were immense amount of damages that i incurred on my luggage (pictures attached):
the agent had packed my glassware in paper and the amounting damages to my glassware and furniture was close to rs **,***. the total damages and charges that i incurred were rs *,**,*** including my damaged items and my tv that has been stolen by the agent and his partner.
i have recently moved into bangalore and during the delays caused by the fraudulent agent, i had to stay in hotels that costed me an additional rs **,***. my wife aged ** years had continuous vomiting and diarrhea as did my elder son, * years of age due to food poisoning due to these delays and the consistent outside food consumed. i also have a toddler aged * months who also has suffered in this ordeal.
request to press criminal charges against the fraduluent agent calling himself ‘agarwal packers & movers’ as well as his partner supreet logistics due to the atrocities committed by them and the damages to my luggage and stealing my tv set.
the name of the fraudulent agent is mukesh and his telephone number is +** ** **** **** and their registered address in hyderabad is:
