This grievance is related to Swiggy Genie platform, which offers door to door pick up and receive of items. I booked one consignment to be picked from my relative at one location and it was supposed to be delivered at my home. My order ID is ***************. Sandeep pal ( delivery boy ) was assigned to complete the task. He picked up the items and was moving towards my location. When he was at the main gate of my apartment, suddenly order status was shown delivered. I tried contacting him, but he had switched off his phone by then. I complained to swiggy immediately around *.** pm. They also tried contacting him but his phone was off. In morning, I received email from Swiggy stating that they have talked to delivery boy and he has informed that the items are stolen by someone from him. Following is the list of items : *) Women Saree *) Men Clothing *) Double bedsheet *) Envelopes worth Rs **** *) Sweet Box *) Ladies clutch with makeup items *) One baby dress *) Some food items The total worth of items was around Rs *****. I want to complain against Swiggy for following: *) Theft by Swiggy Boy, because if the items were stolen by someone, then why he came near to my location and switched off his phone. *) Why did not he reported the theft immediately to Swiggy or me *) Why did he marked the order delivered I have two contradicting things from Swiggy which I am sharing as attachement: a) First attachement , showing order status as delivered b) Second attachement, mail from swiggy that items were stolen I tried to contact customer care of Swiggy, but they were reluctant to provide me compensation of items. With consumer helpline, I want to file * cases against Swiggy: *) Theft of items by Swiggy Boy *) Misleading information stating that items were stolen by someone else *) Mental harrasment they have given to me Hoping for a positive response Ayush **********
