I purchased google pixel * xl mobile on Feb, **** and in the month of june,**** i started experiencing issue with charging port. I explained the problem to google support and after implementing all the steps as per support person, issue was still persistent. So under the warranty terms( of * years by the company) i requsted them to repair the mobile. Since they hardly have any service center in India they arranged the pickup courier service to sent the device for repair to their service factory located at Mumbai(B*X). After the device was diagnosed by service engineer they proposed charges of Rs.**,***. When I questioned about the charges then they falsely claims that device has physical damage and it is out of warranty.
Getting disappointed by the services of the company and false claims i immidiately asked them to return the device without repairing. But when i received the mobile the screen was broken from lower side. When i enquired about this damage then the company again falsely claimed that mobile was already broken but when i sent the mobile for repair there was not a single scratch on the mobile and courier pick up person even clicked photos of mobile in front of me. I again requested the comapny to get in touch the courier person but the company claims that they don't take responisibilities for the courier service.
Getting Hopeless and Harassed by the company I found the courier person by taking the risk of getting outside of my home in COVID-** pandemic and arranged the photos of the mobile clikced during the pickup process. After sending the proofs they somehow agreed to repair the screen damage but refused to repair the charging port issue. I again with frustration send them bill receipt of mobile and finally they agreed to get the device repaired.
But after getting harassed by false claims by such an irresponsible company I simiply requested them to refund the money of the mobile as i don't want to use their services. But Google is refusing to refund me the money. Looking for justice here as an harassed indian customer.
