I paid Lalitha Jewelry monthly chit for ** months in Jayanagar Bangalore for a total amount of Rs.******. The scheme says, **% VA(wastage) discount while redemption of the paid amount against any Jewelry purchase. However, the problem is, customer pays the installment monthly and gold is allotted as per the payment date. But the **% VA(wastage) is calculated by the shop on the redemption date while the customer is redeeming the Jewelry which is unethical. When customer is allotted with grams in his installment, which means customer is buying that much amount of Gold on that payment date. But Jewelry shops wants extra profit and they have chosen to charge the customers with the extra VA, in whatever means. No body questions this and this happens everywhere. Now this is also not the problem, I requested the shop to show the detail whatever they are charging in the bill and give it to me. But they denied to do so and what they are doing is, for whatever the grams I purchased, in this case some X, they take **.*% of current gold price which comes to Y amount, convert this Y amount to gold in Z grams and display in the bill showing that I have purchased X+Z grams, which is illegal. I never bought X+Z grams from them, but they want to show that because they could not show the VA charged for the current date.
I want to bring this scam out and complaining here.
