My family missed our emirates flight from BRU-DEL (BRU-DXB-DEL)(CC*CKW, IYJ**B) since we were late due to the snowstorm in Paris which caused our Thalys train to arrive late by * hrs.
When i reached Emirates desk,they told me that the flight has left. They offered me alternate itenirary(EKW*ZB) and charged
me *** Euros (EKW*ZB) which included a * day layover in Dubai.Even though there were seats available in their other flights to India(i checked online) , they said their system is not showing any seats . When i showed them the seat results retrieved through Internet, they told me that they cannot see any seats in the system. They did not provide me any hotel accomodation or meal vouchers for my stay in Dubai and ignored the fact that i was travelling with family which included my wife and my *
year old daughter. When i asked them to consider , they told me to try my luck in Dubai since in Dubai i could get more flights. When i reached Dubai on *th Feb and approached Emirates desk ,they put me on a waiting list for a flight (DXB-DEL) on the same day but my turn never came. They told me to wait and i spent more than ** hrs waiting. They offered me the option to go to Mumbai (city ) in India (DXB-MUM) but flight from MUM-DEL was costing me more than **** Euros and i refused that
option.
When Emirates couldn't provide me any option in the Dubai airport for more than ** hrs even after repeated requests and i was made to sit in the airport along with family. When i requested for accomodation, those requests were ignored. I had to spend more than *** Dirhams while in the airport for our meals and they didnt even offer meal vouchers.As per Emirates , i was expected to stay in the airport for entire * days which was not acceptable to me. To save my family more trauma , I had to book an alternate Indigo flight from Dubai-Del (DXB-DEL)which costed me *** Euros and i used this flight to come back to Delhi on *th Feb (tickets attached).
I never expected such inhuman and inconsiderate treatment by an airline which claims to be the best in customer service and i
am looking for a refund of Rs.****** (*** Euros +*** Euros ) as well as damages of Rs. ***** for the mental agony they caused me which i incurred due to such horrible treatment by Emirates. I also want to claim additional Compensation for physical/mental agony caused by Emirates airline to my family.
Resolution Demanded: An apology letter from company official, Get refund or credit for your purchase, Get damages for financial loss and mental agony (Damage amount: ****** )
