I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Airtel regarding the ongoing issues I have been facing with their broadband and DTH services. Despite multiple attempts to seek resolution directly from Airtel, I have not received a satisfactory response, and the problems persist.
On **th December ****, I subscribed to Airtel's broadband and DTH services, with the assurance of a same-day connection. However, the connection was not provided until the following day, causing an initial delay and inconvenience.
The situation worsened on **st December **** when my DTH service suddenly stopped working. I immediately lodged a complaint through the Airtel application and contacted the person who sold me the connection at **********. Despite my efforts, the issue remains unresolved. Airtel assigned a representative named Raju (***** *****) to address my complaint on *st January ****, but even he has been unable to rectify the problem. Raju suggested that the issue might be with the set-top box or HDMI cable, but these are new and should not be causing any problems.
In addition, I have been unsuccessful in reaching out to the person who sold me the package, as he is not responding to my calls. Furthermore, Raju has not provided any further assistance or updates. As a result, I have been without services for the past two days, including the New Year period, which has been extremely disappointing, considering the promised super-fast service.
Given the ongoing issues and lack of resolution, I demand immediate action to address the service problem and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. Until my services are fully restored, I refuse to make any payments for the disrupted service. I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter.
I kindly request the Consumer Forum to intervene and assist in resolving this issue urgently. I also request a timeline for when the services will be restored.
