Hi,

I want to highlight one of the major inconvenience that i am facing during these days. I purchased a Hitachi Air conditioner on **th june, **** from Vijay sales, Pitampura Branch. The installation guy came on Saturday to install it and while the installation was going on, i found that there is a major damage in the cooling coil and it seems like a defective product so i mentioned the same to the installation guy but he straightaway told me that this damage comes in every AC so dont worry about it. On the next day, i went to the vijay sales store and asked them to replace my AC as they gave me a defective product. They said the damage that you are talking about comes in every Air conditioner so i asked them to showcase all the Air conditioners that they have in their store and if i found any of them have the same damage then ill take my complaint back. The complaint person from vijay sales including the floor manager showed me two of the air conditioner and none of them has that kind of damage which my Ac has. So, finally santosh(The complaint person) was ready to take my complaint and said ill ask someone from Hitachi to visit your place and check if the Ac actually includes the damage or not , though i showed her the picture of that damage already. On the very next day i.e. on Monday, two people came from Hitachi and they made it clear that this AC is having a huge damage which they call it Cooling Coil Fins damage and they made a report about the same. 

Since then iam just waiting for the response from either Vijay sales or Hitachi and no one is getting back to me instead when iam trying to get in touch with them which is a very tedious task as they hardly answer calls, they just keep saying we are working on it so give us some time. I have paid the entire amout of that Ac as they didnt even gave me a rupee discount but now i am facing this challenge as they gave me a defective product and iam also compromising with my work and my time by taking regular follow ups with them & by visiting their store but my efforts are going in vain as the story remains the same. I also want to highlight that my friend also purchased the same Air conditioner that day when i purchased it and her AC doesnt have that kind of damage but Vijay Sales said its a manufacturing defect that comes in every Ac which i proved them wrong.

I belongs to a middle class family and it takes lot of efforts to arrange that kind of money as iam a private job worker and then making up our mind to even purchase an AC. 

I would request you to please assist me with this issue at the earliest as its giving me a hard time and please get my AC replaced so that it makes me feel worth spending my hard earned money.
