I had enrolled my son Yash Mohan for class ** in the month of April **** and the payment for the programme was initiated through Shopse in EMIs from my Debit Card.
At the time of registration, the company's executives Mr. Pankaj Tripathi and Mr. Rajat Mathur had confirmed verbally the ** days window from the date of registration for cancellation of registration if not satisfied. They also informed that Agreement and other programme details will be sent at my address after completion / activation of registration. But, as my son was not interested in online education and didn't want to continue with this program I had informed Mr. Pankaj Tripathi after * days about the same and he told me that the registration is under process and can be cancelled only after the process is completed. For long there was no communication from company's end regarding registration. Though, before activation of registration, received verification call from the company and there also I had requested for cancellation. After that there was no communication in any way from the company and I was under impression that the registration has been cancelled. But the registration was not cancelled and the EMI of Rs. ****/- was deducted on **.**.**** from my account. I again tried to contact company's representative Mr. Pankaj and Mr. Rajat and after lot of attempt I was able to contact Mr. Rajat and was assured that my request will be forwarded and no EMI will be deducted. After that I have been following both Mr. Pankaj Tripathi as well as Mr. Rajat Mathur but in vain as they do not respond to my calls. And the EMIs are being deducted till date.
Last month I was able to contact Mr. Rajat, on whose advise I sent the request for cancellation of registration on the email id informed by him.
In response, the company denied the cancellation of registration on the basis that the request was made after * days from the date of registration i.e. **.**. **** as per company's policy.
How do I know the compan's policy when theyhave not provided me any document regarding this whereas on the other hand company's representative is telling another version. about ** days period for cancellation against the policy of * days cancellation.
