I had purchased 'SPORTO FITNESS Steel Weight ** to *** Kg Weight Plates, * and * ft Rod, * D. Rods Home Gym Equipment Dumbbell Set (**)' on **th Sep **** for an amount of Rs.**** (including delivery charges). I received the order on ** Sep ****. The product displayed on the website shows it to be a steel product, but I received plastic products. I complained to Amazon regarding the same on ** Sep **** only and I asked them why they have cheated me. I told them that I want to return the incorrect product and would like to have a refund. As I was going for a vacation from ** Sep **** for around one month, I requested them to arrange for immediate return as I would not be available in the city from ** Sep ****. Amazon said sorry for the inconvenience and promised that they would arrange for the return within a maximum of *-* days from my day of complaint. But the third party seller was not responding to my emails so I had to contact Amazon multiple times to arrange for the return on an immediate basis. They kept on giving false promises that they will arrange for the return. Unfortunately, they did not do so. It was only on ** Sep **** at **:** pm that I received an email saying that I could return the product on my own but it was too late then because I had office the next day and I was not in position to carry a ** kg plus products to a courier point and return the item on my own. I informed Amazon that they took a very long time in accepting the return and I was not in a position to return the item on **th Sep and on ** Sep **** I was going on holiday. Then Amazon gave me a ridiculous idea that I should carry the heavy product in my flight and they would create a return request from my hometown. I did not agree with the ridiculous idea of Amazon and then I send my flight tickets to them as it seems that they were not believing that I was going for a holiday. I also raised the issue on twitter. Then Amazon suddenly woke up from their sleep and they filed an A-Z claim on ** Sep **** and they promised that they would give me a resolution. I did not receive any resolution from Amazon to date but unfortunately on ** Oct ****, I received an email from Amazon saying that they have withdrawn my A-Z claim on my request. I had never requested Amazon to close the claim but on asking why they have closed my claim they are unable to answer. Then on ** Oct ****, I received an email from the seller saying that they have initiated a refund for my order. But till today I haven't received the refund nor any update about the refund initiated by the seller. So I contacted Amazon multiple times saying that the seller had initiated the refund but I did not get a refund. On *rd Nov ****, on contacting Amazon they said they are sorry for the inconvenience caused and also said sorry as the seller was not responding. They then informed me that as the seller initiated the refund and did not give me, so Amazon would give me a refund. On that day (*rd Nov****), the customer service representative said to me that she had consulted her manager and her manager had immediately issued a refund on that day itself. She asked me not to worry and she promised me that I would get a refund by *th Nov ****. But till today I did not get the refund that Amazon had promised on *rd Nov ****. Now on contacting Amazon, they are saying that the customer service representative might have made a mistake and made false promises. They now say that they would take action against that customer service representative and is denying me a refund. Please help me filing a court case in this matter. I have been mentally harassed from Amazon in this case and would like to file a mental harassment and cheating case in this regard.
