I took a house on rent during the lockdown after confirming with the Airtel Sales Team that an internet/broadband connection can be installed at the rented accommodation. They charged me INR **** under eCAF_***********. After waiting for a month (the expected SLA time was *-* days) they informed me that there were some technical challenges due to which they could not install the connection. I checked within my society and all flats and a duplex next door has an airtel broadband connection. Unable to understand WHY it could not be installed at my place, I enquired again. They unceremoniously refunded the amount paid without telling me.
I applied for another connection through the Airtel app and after confirming with the sales team that they could provide a connection and do not have any excuses for technical issues etc. with CAF : eCAF_***********. No action has been taken on this request again since about ** days again now.
I also sent emails to Nodal authority and officer, who after responding initially with a promise of looking into it within ** hours, stopped responding all together.
I have suffered the deposit amount plus * month's rent because of this issue plus loss of efficiency at my work place endangering my job due to this negligent, callous and unprofessional attitude of Airtel - damages amounting to at least INR ****** or speedy resolution of my complaint at the earliest.
