I purchased TATA ALTROZ XE variant on **th Aug,**** from Auto Vikas Rajapuri Delhi showroom.
I am using this car from last *.* years and few months ago I have noticed one drastic issue in my car i.e Rusting on car body on all parts. I would like to inform you that this rusting issue is observed from last *-* months which seems to be very unpleasant and making the car condition like ** years old car. I purchased Tata car just because of the trust and believe that we all have of Tata’s build and manufacturing quality. I have purchased brand new car and within just * year I am facing this rusting issue. I visited Tata Autovikas outlet, Moti Nagar on last Friday (*st March) and the inspection has been done by the team ( Agent - Neeraj ) where they informed me that the issue is very severe and the car is getting rusting from inside the body of the car. Pictures has been already taken by the advisor. I request you to kindly update on the same and how will you resolve the issue. As it very clear and informed the team that if we repaint or repair this affected parts, the problem may occur in future also, as the internal body of the car is starting decompose. I am very disappointed with this type of experience from Tata motors. I have received the call today from Auto Vikas and they informed me that we have received the approval for providing you the claim of **% of the cost of repairs. The repair cost will be Rs**,***/- in which I have to the **% i.e Rs**,***/- as per the Advisor ( Neeraj ).
My question from your side is that why should I pay this much of amount if the problem has not been occurred from my side. I have paid * lakh rupees for this Car from my hard earned money and I purchased this Tata car because of Tata Brand Name and build quality. I had not even imagined that within just * years of purchasing this car, I will have to face such kind of empathic issues.Also, I approached the Tata customer care for getting a better, convenient and affordable option. If I could have this amount of budget (Rs **,***/-) with myself to spent on this issue then why should I have approached you, I can easily get this repaired from outside market within very minimal cost.
My second question is that the Advisor informed me that I should have to opt for the complete repair package only in which all the body parts will be repainted which is affected by rusting. Kindly note that the portion of the rusting on a single body part is in the ratio of *:*** except from front bonnet.I asked him that you can simply just repair the affected portion only instead of doing the repaint on the complete body part but he clearly denied me and informed that we will not do like this, you have to pay us Rs*****/- only and we will repaint the complete body part.This is not the fair solution and this is also one of the way of earning the money from the customer or to get free from this problem.
My sincere request from your team is either kindly bear the complete cost of the repair by your side or kindly replace the bonnet only with the new one as it is the most affected part of the car and which cant be repaired along with the repair and maintenance of the affected portion only of the rusted body parts instead of doing the repaint on complete body parts.
