I had booked return ticket Del-Singapore-Beijing with travel date ** Aug **** with Singapore Airlines through Goibibo.com. My return leg was unused and was left open for use till **Aug**** by Goibibo vide their mail dated **Aug****. However, due to Covid-** the unused travel could not be availed. I approached Goibibo in June-July for resolution but it was unreachable and on mail/FB remained non responsive. Hence, I approached Singapore Airlines and after many mail exchanges, it extended the travel as a special case till **Dec** FOC vide mail dated **Jul**. However, later the airlines cancelled its own offer and asked me to claim refund through Goibibo. On apprising the airlines of Goibibo being non responsive, the airline executive assured me that Goibibo would contact me. Goibibo cancelled the ticket and issued me a refund amount notification of Rs ***** on **Aug ** and vide mail dated **Aug** asked for account details as they were not able to transfer amount due to technical issues. I was gladly surprised with all this promptness from the airline and Goibibo. However, after sharing required details, waiting for nearly ** days and follow ups, Goibibo responded it had received only Rs**** from the airlines as tax refund and had transferred Rs **** to me after deducting its convenience fee. I was now bitterly surprised as refund amount was being changed by Goibibo itself without any intimation to me and protested with Goibibo. I demanded them to refund entire amount of unused ticket as was notified by them earlier, in the interim transfer the full tax amount already received by them immediately as convenience fee more than **% of refund amount being deducted by them was unjustifiable and also share details of transfer done as I had not received anything till date - not even the peanuts Rs **** claimed to be transferred by them. Goibibo has been non responsive since then and I received a mail of case being closed as I was not responding to their calls, which was a lie as I was desperately waiting to hear from them. Feeling cheated, I again approached the airlines to resolve the issue. But they refused to release any unused booking amount beyond the taxes stating the ticket was valid for only * months. This was despite sharing with them the Goibibo mail dated **Aug**** extending the travel date till **Aug****. They refused to even provide a credit for future travel in lieu of a valid ticket being cancelled by them due to Covid**. This credit was in a way provided by them when they extended the ticket till **Dec**** vide their mail dtd **Jul****. Instead they directed me to speak to the agent Goibibo only. I am now extremely harassed by these so called leading international airlines and corporate ticketing agent and am aggrieved as for no fault of mine the ticket has been cancelled and no fair resolution is being offered by either the agent or the airline. I am ok to get even equivalent credit for future use as against a monetary refund. Having read reviews of Voxya, I seek assistance from Voxya to get a fair resolution from Goibibo to refund the entire tax amount received by them and the airlines to refund the balance booking amount. The booking amount of ticket was Rs **,*** + Goibibo's convenience fee. As rightful remedy I should get atleast **% of this amount in monetary or credit form as return journey ticket was unused and valid till **Aug****.
