I had purchased Samsung Galaxy NOTE * model number SM-N***FZBHINS on **th May **** from CROMA Kharghar Navi Mumbai India.

In April ****, I had updated the software patch and since then my phone started showing issues with discolouration of screen. I googled to see what could be the reason and I could notice that I am not the only person facing this issue but globally every NOTE * owners had a similar issue after update of the software.

My phone was within warranty period when the issue started, however, the service centre was not operational to avail the facility due to COVID** lockdown. When their service centre opened my warranty period expired.

I came to know that the service centre is operational from *st September **** and made * visits which were unsuccessful due to heavy rush & taking limited-service request on alternate days. However, after * visits I could manage to meet the service centre personnel on *st October **** and registered the request. My request number is **********. By the time phone is out of warranty period. For the last * to * months my phone is not in use.

From *st October ****, I was regularly following with service centre and customer care. I have been told that they have ordered the part and is under repair and suddenly on **th October they have cancelled my repair, stating that it's not under warranty and I need to pay for the repair which amounts to around ** thousand.

It’s not my fault, however on moral grounds they must repair my phone within the warranty period. It’s a genuine case and Samsung need to consider this case as special who has lost warranty period due to COVID** lockdown.
