Hello concerned. I had visited Totoodo service center located at RBI layout,J P Nagar *th phase for mobile display issue. On preliminary check the Technician named Mr.Barkath informed that the display is not turning on and need to be replaced. Before visiting Totoodo i had a check with the OnePlus Exclusive authorised service center at brigade road and got the same response as the display need to replaced and they would charge ****+GST. To reduce the expenses i visited Totoodo with positive hopes and got my original display replaced on **/**/**** for Rs.****/- . When i visited Totoodo to collect my device i found thatthe display brightness was very dull and the clarity of videos and pictures too looked very dull. I collected the device and checked for all display functionalities whole day, but to my bad luck the display turned out to be a duplicate one. For instance the video clarity of *K resolution were delivering quality as low as ***p. Also observed greenish tints at the corners. Then i had to visit again the Totoodo service and complained regarding the issue. The technician addressed the issue and told that he would send the device to the head office located at Jayanagar Bangalore and get it rectified in a day or two. It took a week long time to get the work done,that too on multiple calls to the service center. This time the defective display was replaced with another display with better illumination. Again i collected back my device home and did all checks & to my bad luck i observed the display getting unclear and blurry in the background of videos. I cross checked it for * to * days to verify and confirm the issue, but the issue was persistent. I had to visist the service center again and had to explain the issue. Mr. Barkath the technician had to explain the same issue to another great technician who without checking told that it is a mother board issue. For your kind notice if the issue was with the mother board why was not checked during first replacement of display. Further on my insistence they hesitantly took up the issue and escalated to head office. After *days of rigorous research from the Head office, came to a conclusion as mother board issue as told by the second great technician of Totoo. Finally i had to take back the device and got it checked with the OnePlus Exclusive authorised service center. As expected the service center technician told that display replaced from Totoodo is not a genuine LED diplay but a duplicate one and refused to provide any assistance to the third party display. Totoodo claims to provide an OEM parts, but its purely a false claims. Most of the fraud cases against Totoodo has been registered on the consumer court. Please help me in getting the refund and do the needful. Thank you in advance.
