I ordered * TB western digital hard drive from Amazon on *th July **** (order no: ***-*******-*******). I paid for the order when I placed it on the same day. Amazon didn’t send the product as they promised, instead of that they mislead me to go through the process called A to z claim in Amazon. The customer service team from Amazon has informed that I will get my product ASAP if I apply for that claim, but its a hidden way to make the customer applies for the refund without their knowledge. After that, they have refunded the money on ** July **. Because of their wrong guidance and non-delivery, I lost all my personal and professional documents ( photos, case studies, financial records). After * months I needed another HDD for my office purpose so I ordered in Amazon for the * TB WD HDD on August **, ****. I paid using my debit card end with ****. This time also Amazon did the same thing they cited various reasons for non-delivery, rains, customs clearance, courier issues etc. But the order has been cancelled by Amazon itself before the delivery. I was a little surprised about the fact why Amazon need to cancel their own order? We started to investigate the issues regarding the non-deliveries. I spoke with some of Amazon employees and understand how Amazon conduct the business based on lies and fraudulent business practices. Amazon had a web of ghost suppliers or shell companies to provide the products at very cheap prices than their competitors (Flipkart, Snapdeal ). Another important reason they said that the seller is no longer working with Amazon so that they can't fulfil the order. I was wondering how come the seller will close the contract when the orders and payments are pending? Why Amazon is paying on behalf of the seller? Is Amazon is trying to cover up its tracks? Because of these I firmly believe Amazon runs the Indian business with a lot of misleading and fraudulent business practices because of this confusion. I lost almost all of my professional and financial data. Even after two years, I am unable to get all my data back. I have spent more than ** thousand for the loss as of now.
