Dear Sir/Madam, This is with regards to my booking with SPICEJET of **st July, ****, from Mangalore to Patna via Bangalore vide PNR No. D*IU*. I got a message from Spicejet on **th June at **:**pm a day before the travel that my flight has got cancelled and the amount has been credited to the CREDIT SHELL and I can use the same amount for any future bookings. In this connection I had requested them several times and informed them that I am not a regular traveler by flight and reason for myself travelling to Mangalore was to go to my home town due to increase of COVID-** cases. However, they said due to the restriction of COVID-** the flight is cancelled, but the same SPICEJET was taking the passenger from Mangalore to Bangalore and Bangaluru to Patna by another flight they adjust. (by i . I had checked it on Makemytrip/Goibibo for the same day travel from Mangalore to Patna there where flights from Mangalore to Patna. The highlight is SPICEJET was flying the same flight SG****, which I had booked from Mangalore to Bangalore. So in that case they do not have any restrictions to fly the passengers during COVID-**. In light of the foregoing it clearly seems that SPICEJET has given these type of excuses they can utilize the money for a year. Therefore request you to please lodge my complaint and do me a favour to get my money back from them as I had mailed them several times to their Customer Relations Team, Nodal Officer and to the Appellate Officer as well, but they are still sticking to their Credit Shell only. The cancellation was done from their side, so they should refund the full amount instead of keeping the balance in the credit shell for future booking. Would truly appreciate if you could please speak to them and provide me the refund as due to this covid. I am facing financial problem and you never know what will happen till March, ****. Hope to hear a positive reply from your end.
