I have a complaint against Zomato. I ordered a food item from corner House ice cream store in Marenahalli, Bengaluru. The valet (named Nagesh) arrived at my location but still wasn't able to find p.g. accomodation. I instructed him the best I could, even I am new to the city so I can't accurately direct someone here. This went on for a few minutes on the phone, the valet proposed that I send him my live location to which I said that instead of that he can search my PG's name on Google maps (I have taken a few rides with ola and uber and never faced an issue regarding the location). I even narrated the name of my PG, letter by letter. Finally, he started shouting at me (in fluent English) to which I said that he can have the order if he doesn't feel like doing the job he is paid for. In response he started speaking in Kannada knowing full-well that I am not a Kannadiga to which I cut the call. In a moment of Impulse I cancelled the order for which I am not getting the full refund ( as per Zomato policy). So a delivery valet can misbehave with me by calling me words such as 'stupid', 'idiot' etc. and saying me to shut my mouth but, when I ask for compensation for the trouble caused to me Zomato executive just brush aside their duty to their customers.
I hope someone here can help me with this. t this point I don't want my money back because it is pointless. But, I do want Zomato and other food delivery services to take their customers seriously and be stricter with the conduct of their valets towards the customers.
