- Yatra Resorting to Fraud Method to Avoid Giving Refund Closed
I Had Booked Two Round Trip Flight Tickets From Chennai To Paris On January **th, **** With Yatra. As The Travel Couldn't Take Place Due To COVID Restrictions, The Airline (Oman Air) Decided To Provide Refund Without Penalty After ** Months Of Original Ticket Issuance. I Approached Yatra On **th January After The Completion Of ** Months For A Refund To Source Bank Account. First Of All They Didn't Wish To Provide Refund And After Exchange Of Several Mails They Decided To Provide Refund Of Rs ***** Instead Of Rs ***** (The Original Cost Of The Tickets). As I Asked Them Why They Deducted Rs ****, Instead Of Giving Me A Response, They Proceeded By Transferring The Refund Amount In Yatra E-Wallet! This Step Forces Me To Book Future Travels With Them Which I'm Not At All Interested After Their Appalling Customer Service. I've Been Constantly Requesting Them To Refund Me To The Source And No Where Have I Asked Them To Refund In Yatra E-Wallet. There Is No Way To Reach Them Through Telephone, Nor Do They Respond Properly To Mail. This Is Highly Unprofessional. The Appropriate Department Of Govt. Of India Must Take Action Against Such Fraudulent Companies. I Would Like To Get A Full Refund (Minus Any Convenience Fee That Yatra Charged While Booking The Tickets) To The Source Bank Account. Note that to my previous complain raised on Voxya, yatra responded by saying that they are in contact with me via Ref No. YA: ********. They had created this ticket but they never respond and don't wish to resolve the issue. It has been over a week since that ticket is open and several mails have been sent from my end but Yatra has avoided responding and giving any resolution even after sharing my bank details with them for the refund. For Your Reference, I've Attached The Invoice Copies Received From Yatra And Document Of Refund By Oman Air Also Received From Yatra. Thank You And Looking Forward To A Resolution At The Earliest.
