- Unfair cancellation charged by EaseMyTrip in view of lockdown Closed

Due to the lockdown declared by the government my flight from Mumbai to Udaipur on March **th **** was cancelled.
After confirming with the airline IndiGo, I was promised full refund.
After waiting for a month and countless emails later, EaseMyTrip still deducted cancellation charges inspite of the cancellation being something that was not in my control but a measure taken by the government for national security.
Never experienced such non cooperation from any other service provider.

I have written countless emails asking for refund of full amount as promised by the airlines, I was told to cancel on the EaseMyTrip app which I did and I got an email saying that Rs *** will be charged for cancellation which is unjustified given the Indian lockdown situation.
