I had bought * sets of dinning table Alder Solid Wood Two Seater Cushioned Dining Set in Honey Oak Finish by Woodsworth. It was for my café. * Chairs broke within ** days of use and other * chairs are shaky. Can break any moment. It was when my customers were sitting on the chair it broke and they fell. It was an embarrassing moment for me as a owner. Carpenter from Pepperfry had visited my café and said the chairs cannot be repaired and its a manufacturing defect as both the chairs broke from the same place and other * chairs too will break from the same place. the joint. I have attached the image of * broken chair. Even after raising multiple tickets pepperfry just refuses to address this issue saying it was broken with external force and its wear and tear issue. Chairs are meant for seating and if sitting on chair is wear and tear then what kind of product they are selling at this exorbitant price. I even have the cctv footage of customer falling from the chair but will not be able to attach the same due to privacy concerns.
