- TRAI rule not getting activated Closed
Subject: Channels not getting activated as per new trai rule - Very poor customer service of Videocon d*h
This is to bring to your notice (* emails sent to customer care earlier for the same problem) that even after several complaints to customer care and several phone calls to their customer service numbers. I am not able to change my channel package as per my requirement.
I have tried to select channels as per new trai rules, on the website as well as on app d*h infinity, but the selection is not getting registered/activated. I have tried several times since the last several days, but whenever I submit my selection one dialogue box appears, saying the following :
"Your package is not migrated, due to some technical error. Please contact Customer care." or
"Thank you your selection has been registered and we will get back to you soon", but there is no action and my package is not migrated.
Further, when I view my plan online it shows channels which I have never selected, and total monthly charges are shown as approx.Rs.***, while my selection total cost comes to approx Rs. ***, after adding ncf & gst. I am not able to exercise my choice of channels as per the new trai requirement. This is totally against the new regulation of trai , whereby consumer has the right to select the channels as per the choice. I, therefore, request you to take appropriate action so that my desired channels are activated and unnecessary channels are removed. In this regard, I have contacted customer care on phone also several times, in last ** days but no solution is provided by them except saying that "you have to wait", or "we are facing some technical issue, please call after one hour). For how long can one wait and how many times I have to call? I have done advance recharge , and my current balance amount is approx. Rs.****, but is getting exhausted very fast due to extra monthly charge owing to activation of unnecessary channels by Videocon d*h.
I have tried to contact the Nodal office also, but the phone is not picked up, and when I write mail on the mail address provided on their website, postmaster mail comes back saying that the mail was not delivered.

My old mother watches only JINVANI religious channel. But Videocon company removed that channel from there platform. I request for it continually but anybody doesn't respond....
