Issues-
*. On website the bed colour was shown as bright brown. But I received dull blackish.
*. Instead of sunmica, or spray paint layer on top it's actually paper foil. Which is tearing down also from edges.
*. Overall very bad quality product. The quality of engineering wood is grossly substandard. It's fragile, week and not at all sturdy.
*. Completely dissatisfied and unhappy.
I put a return request same day. I got a call back next day. They rejected the return request by saying-
*. Colour difference is because they uploaded pictures in high resolution and slight change is possible. ( Although it's not slight. The bed is not brown at all. It's blackish. Another colour all together)
*. They said they'll send a carpenter to paste the paper back. ( Mann... I don't want this product at all after knowing that top layer is paper which is prone to moisture and water.
*. Regarding this, they said if it's so I should not have bought the furniture in the first place itself.
*. They said there's no clause for customer unhappiness and dissatisfaction in their return policy. These are not acceptable grounds.
Overall experience with Pepperfry-
*. They are bunch of rude, unprofessional and so much customer unfriendly people.
*. They say that they have * day easy return policy. Which is not at all easy and actually a tool of mental harassment only.
*. Customer dissatisfaction is not a priority for them. Even though customer has spent so much for setting up her dream home. For them grabbing money is sole agenda.
*. They don't learn from other counterparts in online selling business (like Amazon etc.) which have very easy and non harassing customer care and return policies.
By doing this they are losing trust, customers and business (atleast me...!!! I'll never visit Pepperfry again). Hope better sense prevails and they learn.
