- Service Mis selling Denying to adhere to refund policy customer care repeatedly lying Open
Company caused the following issues
*. Service mis selling. Paid for one service and given something different.
*. Company is denying to adhere to refund policy mentioned in the agreement.
*. Customer associates lied everyday causing a lot of mental hassle to me.
*. A product got damaged during relocation due to the different service offered.
I used happylocate relocation services for my relocation from gurgaon to hyderabad. The company usually offers two kinds of relocation services
*. Shared container relocation - this is cheaper but delivery happens late and has risk of damage of goods.
*. Dedicated container relocation - this is for faster delivery dates.
The company charged me ***** for a dedicated container based relocation and my goods were picked up on july **th with expected date of delivery as *th August. Customer associate also told that I can expect around *th august since delivery usually happens fast.
I have been calling customer care from *th August where each day the associate was telling that goods are coming tomorrow, the day after etc. I had to keep managing mine and my family's leaves so that we can collect the goods but it changed *-* times. Finally goods came on **th August.
Finally after speaking to their customer support manager, he confirmed that goods are indeed coming in shared container as opposed to dedicated container.
Upon pressing for refund they are willing to give *k. but the difference in shared vs dedicated container is usually **-**k. Also, they are not accounting for the repeatedly lying and hassle that they caused me. They also are denying to pay the delay penalty that they have on their website of *** rupees per day.
