With reference to the above, I would like to state that it is very disappointing to say that Xiaomi India Private Limited is one of the reputed company in India. But its authorized channel partners are selling duplicate bogus products in the market and cheating the customers by providing fake information. Recently I had an issue with the battery of my MI *S prime cell phone for which I visited one of authorized channel partner i.e. “KK Store” which is in Bhayander (East), Thane, Maharashtra i.e. exactly opposite Bhayander railway station, besides Surbhi Sweets on **/**/****. There I inquired about the battery where many assurance and commitment has been given with respect to the quality of the battery. I agreed on the same after which the service engineer went outside the shop and bought the loose battery (unpacked) from somewhere outside. On enquiry, he told there is no packing it comes like that only we keep it in our other shop from there I bought this. After which battery was replaced at Rs ***/- (Battery ***/- Service Charges Rs ***/- and **/- card swipe charges). Thereafter in ** days, I observed that the battery is taking a long to charge ***% i.e. full night and immediately comes down within some time. I was sure there are some issues with the battery. Again I visited that store on **/**/**** and asked to check the battery after which the owner told to talk with the service engineer as he is only responsible for the battery. On asking service engineer he told me that we cannot do anything as this has no guarantee. I told, however, maybe the quality it should least work for *-* months on which he started talking rudely with me and denied. When I told I will complain to the company he told you complaint whomsoever you want to and do whatever you want to do I will not even check. It was shocking that even the owner was not replying and when I asked the owner that give your visiting card he replied we don’t have a card.
So I request you to take immediate action and withdraw your dealership from them in the public interest as these people are engaged in fraudulent activities and may have cheated many customers like me and may cheat in future. Also, provide me with a fresh battery as compensation.
Hope you will take appropriate action in this regards or else I have to take up this matter with consumer forums and if required with consumer court.
