Dr. Rakesh Sohal filed this complaint against Lido Learning on Nov 13, 2020

*. That the complainant is a law abiding citizen of India residing at the address mentioned in the cause title of the complaint petition. (Attached the Photostat copy of the Adhaar Card of the Complainant as “Annexure-A”).

*. That Complainant states that he had availed Respondent services for his son namely Priyanshu Sohal for online teaching in the month of June ****.
(Admission details annexed as “Annexure B”)

*. That Complainant states that he and his son were not satisfied with Respondent service so Complainant requested to end the contract and refund the excess deducted amount but it was not refunded till date.


*. The Complainant states that the Respondent informed Complainant that Respondent have cancelled the contract but till date the fees for the said service is still being deducted Complainants account.

*. The Complainant states that an amount of Rs-****/- per monthis beingdeducted from Complainant account as the fees for the servicenot taken by the Complainant

*. That the complainant from there on tried several times to contact the respondent and sought their help, but the respondent had not yet resolved his issue and all his honest and legal efforts to get his refund has gone in vain.

*. That the Complainant tries to solve the issue in every aspect and therefore send the Respondent a legal notice of the Ld. Advocate to the Respondent on **/**/** and then also the Respondent did not provide any reply to the Complainant.


*. That the Respondents have miserably failed in providing good service despite the Complainant has paid the full amount in advance to the respondent authority and thereby causing deficiency in service.

*. That the instant Complaint is filed within the prescribed time period in terms of the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, ****.

**. That the cause of Action of the instant complaint arose on, the date **/**/** upon non-performance of the Respondents of their obligations despite Notice of the Learned Advocate. (Attached the legal notice copy of Ld. Advocate as “Annexure-C”).

**. Copy of the said Legal Notice by the duly appointed advocate of the complainant for compliance of required services dated **/** /** is annexed herewith as “Annexure C”.

**. That the Complainant makes payment of the requisite Court Fees.

**. That the Complaint is made bona fide and for ends of justice.

**. That there is no suit pending nor has been decided on the same subject matter between the parties by ant competent court of law other than the described one.


**. That the instant Complaint is within the jurisdiction of the Learned Forum
