I AM FROM INDIA AND ON NOV**,**** I MADE A PURCHASE OF MOBILE PHONE COVER FROM AMAZON.COM FOR $*.** USING SBI INDIAN CREDIT CARD. AFTER TWO HOURS OF ORDER PLACEMENT, $**.** GOT DEBITED FROM MY CARD. SUSPECTING THIS AS HACK, I BLOCKED THE CARD AND RAISED DISPUTE WITH MY CREDIT CARD ISSUER. THEY BLOCKED THE CARD AND ISSUED ME THE TEMPORARY CREDIT OF $**.**. AFTERWARD I REALISED THAT THE TRANSACTION IS FOR THE MOBILE PHONE COVER FOR IMPORT FEES AND HANDLING CHARGES. SO I WITHDRAW THE DISPUTE AND MY CREDIT CARD ISSUER REVERSED THAT TEMPORARY CREDIT. I PAID THAT TO MY CREDIT CARD. IN THE MEAN TIME THE ITEM IS DELIVERED AND I RETURNED THE ITEM IN MY OWN MONEY OF RS.*** ($**) TO AMAZON TO GET THE REFUND. ON JAN *, **** AMAZON RECEIVED THE ITEM BUT NOT REFUNDED YET. ON CONTACTING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY CONVEYED THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY ISSUED REFUND ON DEC**,**** WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED IN MY CARD. SO THEY ASKED ME TO CONTACT MY CREDIT CARD ISSUER. I CONTACTED MY SBI CREDIT CARD CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY CLEARLY TOLD THAT THE MERCHANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS AS TWO DEBITS AND ONE CREDIT HAPPENED FOR THIS TRANSACTION. NOW I HAVE LOST MY MONEY RS.****, RETURNED THE PRODUCT.
