I’ve booked ticket through Flipkart travel for my nephew to travel from Toronto to Hyderabad on **/**/****. Due to international travel ban the flight got cancelled without any prior notification to the passenger. Neither airlines nor the travel agent informed about the cancellation and we had to book another ticket right from the airport by paying hefty amount as the passenger has arrived at the airport. Etihad airline is the original carrier and as they cancelled the flight and they asked us reach out to Flipkart for full refund. Upon talking to Flipkart on **/**/**** they said they are issuing the full refund and it’ll be available in my account with in ** days and I’ll receive a confirmation regarding the same, but after that I’ve called them *-* times and send multiple emails and made them talk to Etihad who provided them details on where to check and issue the refund to the customer. Even after doing all this they have not issued any refund and every time I call them they say the same repeated things stating they are escalating the case with backend team and I’ll get response within **-** hrs and that will never happen. I did even speak to their L* and L* support team who told me that it’ll be resolved in ** hrs and even after a week nothing has happened. This is putting us under lot of mental pressure and financial and time loss. Pleas help us. Looks like not only us, when I read the reviews online about this agent I see many customers are facing the same issue with them.
