On **th June I purchased * items from www.lifestyle.in vide order number ********** paid by Net banking.On **th June the items were delivered, as the quality was not upto mark I created return request the same day. On **th June all * items were picked up from their appointed courier partner Delhivery vide AWB ************.The courier person refused to give acknowledgement receipt he said I would get message. When days passed and I didn’t get any message or email from Lifestyle regarding refund I called up the customer care on **th June and the representative informed me that they have initiated refund on **th June with *-* working days it will reflect in my account. I waited,on *th July I got notification from my Lifestyle app, that pickup has been requested.I called up customer care, they were not able to clarify me and told me that they will check with the QC team and get back.I waited,no one called back, I wrote an email which they replied that * items have been received,for other * items picked up they are not accountable. Asked them who created another return request on my behalf without my knowledge, got no reply. On **th June for the * items they said they have received they refused to give me any details for the transaction id for the refund initiated. Few points to be noted:
*.E-commerce portals in their return request receipt email verify the items requested to be returned, description and amount. Nothing is mentioned in their email.
*. I created the return request on same day for all *items,if they were supposed to be picked up separately in two batched,they should have let me know through email.
*. The courier person usually checks the items and enter bar code of the product and get a signature for the item given.No such procedure is followed,no return receipt,no email,nothing customer is kept in dark whole time.
*. On *th July return request was created on my behalf, without my knowledge,which directly amount to fraud
*. Even for the items they confirmed are received there is no refund, after so many days.Called up customer care,no one has any information about anything,when request to connect to their shift supervisor they are also unavailable. They say it’s been escalated but no one calls back.No accountability.
