Hi, I had payed for new Hathaway broadband connection on Friday ** July **** at around **:** pm, I was reached out by sales team person (Manish) and was told after making the payment the internet will be installed the very next day. I received the confirmation call at **:** am on Saturday ** July **** and was asked to wait for today and the technician will surely reach out and get the things going.
I kept on following up with both sales and technician and was always given the same reply that the technician is in the area and working at someones place and ones he is done he will come and install our equipment.
I also told Manish that my father is coming back from hospital on Sunday after recovering from Covid-** and i will not let anyone get in the house as the promises made for my connection was for Saturday **th, I finally got hold off the technician and his name was Jawed Ansari who at my repeated calls answered his phone at *pm on Sat just to tell me that the connection cannot be installed today. I immediately asked him for the refund and said as it i told Manish i cannot have anyone come on Sunday because i was worried about my father.
Then around at *pm on Saturday, the manager (Anuj) came in the picture after i managed to find out his number online and when i asked him to send me the refund confirmation he said that we do not send any confirmation the refund gets processed in ** to ** days. I have all the recordings and messages to support my altercation with Hathaway and i will also send these email with the attachments to TRAI and consumer form.
