Complaint filed against: Zomato
I placed an order on nov 10th at 8.55am with Ganga sweets order no 1691346627, i paid the amount by card Rs.180 for Kaju katli and onion pakoda through the Zomato app. As there is no response I called the deliver person ( number got through the app) at 9.41 am at his no 75502 04971 spoke to him 43 sec, I here with attached the screen shot of the same.
He said the restaurant dont support this delivery and the order got cancelled by them, I will get my refund soon.
But I didn't get any refund so when i asked the status of refund in your chat support on monday, they refused to process as i was not reachable. But it is not the truth. I contacted the deliver person
After this I spoke to the same delivery person and he also agrees that I called and spoke to him, only the system cancel the order not me. I was reachable and i spoke to the deliver person too.
I also have the call recording of the conversation (tamil) with the delivery person. This is cheating and unethical.For their system error they are looting money from consumers.
Resolution Demanded: Get refund or credit for your purchase
