I booked a cab from Bangalore to Pondicherry on Sept **th, ****. It was an onward and return trip that was booked using their mobile app since this feature is not available on their website. A total of Rs. ***** was deducted from my wife's HDFC account that was used to make the payment. However, only the return trip (for Oct **th, ****) was only confirmed. The onward trip (for Oct *nd, ****) kept showing in progress status and was never confirmed. Onward trip booking ID - CARPIFRJMJKCXZV and return booking ID - CARPIFRJMJKZKIR. We had to spend an extra Rs. **** to rebook the onward trip which was then confirmed. Since their customer service was not functioning due to the pandemic, we took this issue to their twitter on the same day. Goibibo's twitter team and only been making run around bushes by stating that they are checking. In between, there were multiple messages exchanged between my wife, myself and Goibibo twitter team via DMs and twitter posts. On Oct **th, **** they posted a reply stating a refund was initiated and will take *-** business days to reflect on the source account. This was already stated on my wife's twitter account early October. Despite waiting this whole time, the amount has not been refunded. Not to forget this was also the time when my wife was the only earning member as I had lost my job due to the pandemic. I still not have a concrete response from Goibibo about this refund and I dont trust them anymore. I not only demand a refund of Rs. **** but also call for a compensation for the time, energy and internet wasted behind this refund during our difficult times. I urge you to assist me in this matter.
