- Received Bad Quality Product Open
On **th July **** around *.** pm Sunday, My wife and I happened to visit Elements mall Located near Nagwara next to Manyata techpark in Bangalore and dropped in to Poorvika store and there was great discount on Iphone XR (discounted amount : ***** change) and the sales rep showed his phone, the clarity of the camera, touch and everything was good in his phone. We went to Reliance digital which is right opposite to Poorvika to check the prices, we were concerned why only this model has a huge discount compared to Iphone X max and Xs, when we checked with the sales rep at reliance digital, they said its only camera difference apart from that all the features are same, we compared the device with Xmax and Xs and found not much difference. Then we purchased the phone, it was around **.** pm we were the last customers to step out of the store and could not realize the difference. After coming home is when we noticed that the camera quality is different from the demo piece.
On **th July around *.** pm, we went to the Apple store in Elements (ground floor) and showed him the difference between other Xr device and he agreed that there is a difference and asked us to visit the Icare center on *rd floor and we visited Iphone centre, we spoke to a guy by name saavan roy and he said the servers are down and unsure when will it be up, we asked for the contact number for apple customer service, he asked us to google. Apparently, there is no contact number for the Apple customer service on google.
We visited apple center on ** Aug ****, we were asked to submit the phone and we will get an update if there is an issue. unfortunately, as per the diagnosis report they found nothing, second time we submitted and yet, nothing found, third time submission, nothing found. meanwhile, we spoke to lot of agents from Apple care named Aditya, Abdul, Gulrina who claimed to be the Sr Analyst and totally unhelpful. We also spoke to the Store manager by name Vasanth and he said that he will look into the matter personally.
Every time we visited the Icare center, we have almost spent *-* hours and we ended up paying ** - *** rs for the parking on every visit.
We contacted Reliance digital Manager by name Yashwanth, we showed him the difference between the same model, even the Apple care agent Moiz also witnessed the situation and we asked him to mention the problem while sending the device to the Apple repair centre. unfortunately, he did not do his job by not mentioning that.
The last conversation was with Abdul in Apple care, where he found that the display of the Iphone which we purchased was yellow and they said that the display specification is mentioned on the box (I checked thoroughly, no such things are mentioned, please see the screen shot for reference). The demo piece which we saw in Poorvika and Reliance digital it had white display but when we received the box piece it was yellow display, as we were unaware of the display specifications, we complained about this to the Apple team, they simply refused to admit their mistake and said that they cannot replace the phone or change the display. to white. The worst part is that the Apple care team says that they will take this concern as a feed back so that other customers do not get cheated this way. Seriously, the feedback is worth *****/-. They are rude, arrogant, helpless, irresponsible, poor customer service. I doubt if that is the standard of the Apple then I have made a wrong choice.
Reliance digital Manager Yeshwanth has confirmed that the sales team of apple was also unaware of this.
We visited the Apple store or Icare within ** hours from the time of purchase and as per the policy they are supposed to be replacing the phone. if their server is down and the agent refused to look into my issue then its not my mistake and I should not be paying anything for their mistake.
Its not only the issue with the display, we also reported issues like "bad touch, phone gets hanged while playing games, Video quality is not good".
We have spent more than a month visiting the Icare centre and making several calls with no resolution to the Apple team.
On those grounds I demand for a compensation for the time and money invested with no resolution and the phone which I saw in demonstration. Also, The Apple team should advertise products appropriately, its not that What we buy is different than what we saw. Its a cheating and fraud. .
