- Received a defective bed from pepperfry Open
I purchased a bed online from pepperfry on **/**/****, the bed was under ** months warranty. Right from the time I got it assembled by pepperfry personnel the bed was making squeaky noiices, I complaint regarding it online and the personnel was sent again he made a makeshift arrangement and announced it can't be corrected. So I decided to make peace with the fact. Soon the bed developed a crack and it broke while I was sleeping on it. I filed a complaint again this month and they sent their personnel who announced that it is unrepairable and the damaged part should be changed as it is under warranty. Now I have received the communication from pepperfry that it does not come under warranty. I have only used the bed for sleeping during night. I am a ** year old woman weighing ** kgs, in no way I can understand how the bed has been deliberately damaged the bed's condition is totally new except the broken part. I purchased it from my hard-earned money, paid all the money in advance, and even purchased a mattress of the bed's size, which is not at all usable on any other bed. I have asked pepperfry to kindly exchange the damaged part or refund the money but they have shamelessly refused to listen, even when the bed is under **months warranty.
