I purchased a product worth ₹**,*** from Reliance Digital online portal on May *st ****. I chose "* months No Cost Credit Card EMI" option while placing the order.
However, my transaction was not converted to EMI.
The whole amount was billed to my credit card and I was forced to pay the whole bill. Also, I incurred a financial charge of *,***₹ additionally.
I contacted the customer care team multiple times, mailed them numerous times, they confirmed that order was placed through EMI and they are looking into why it wasn't converted.
Now they came back saying that "You have not chosen EMI option"
I have the invoice also saying that "Payment Mode: Equal Monthly Installment"
Customers choose EMI option becusse they can't afford to pay the whole amount in one payment. What is the point of us choosing EMI and still being forced to pay the whole amount?
