I purchased beats fit pro (TWS earbuds) on *th May **** from iAvenue Store (authorized apple retailer) in Surat.
I found out that the earbuds are having connectivity issues and an Automatic Switching issue (this is a feature that Apple promises. Apple says that earbuds will switch automatically between devices (that are under the same iCloud account) as and when the music/video is being played between different devices. So, for example, I'm listening to music on my iPhone in beats fit pro and if I start watching videos on my MacBook then they'll get switched automatically).
So, after a couple of days i.e., on Tuesday *th May I took the earbuds to the nearest authorized Apple service center and submitted them in the morning. Then they called me in the evening and told me that there are no hardware issues with your earbuds and the automatic switching will only work with * devices at max but apple promises that earbuds can get connected to all of the devices. So, I asked what to do now. They provided me a service report and told me to contact the point of purchase (iAvenue store) and they'll provide me further assistance.
Then next day I visited iAvenue and told them the issue but they told me that we won't be providing any support to you & neither will be providing any refund. If you have any issues with the product then contact apple support. I told them that I already contacted the Apple Service center and they provided me with the Service report and told me to contact the point of purchase (iAvenue store).
Then the iAvenue Store told me to call on Apple's Contact Support (***********).
I called on the number (the next day) and they get me connected to a support manager named Raffy Cano. I explained the issue and he told if you're not getting the feature that is promised by apple then you can simply return the product to point of purchase. I told him that the store is denying me to give any kind of support/refund. He told me to give the store's number and he called them and said to refund the amount.
He then told me to go submit the earbuds and collect the refund. So, I visited the store again to get a refund, but the store still denied that they don't have a refund, so they won't be able to give any refund. I asked them what to do next and they told me to give the product to them and they'll do some testing and will let me know. After * days I visited the store again and asked them what to do now and they told me they have tested it with * devices and it's working fine but I told them that it should work on all iCloud devices and not just *. Now they told me to give one more day for testing and they'll contact me after that.
But it's already been more than ** days with this issue and there is no clear assistance being provided by Apple & its retailers, service centers, etc. They're neither resolving the issue that the product has nor they're refunding me the amount for the product.
