- Poor No Customer support service Closed
I along with my * friends booked a flight from Phuket to Utapao (both in Thailand) for **th march. But due to the cancelation of on arrival visa by Thailand and the fear of coronavirus, I choose to cancel the trip.
My flight from Delhi to Phuket was booked under Indigo and they refunded the complete amount. (PNR is AQ*URB).
My return flight is from bangkok to delhi where Spicejet agreed to give cancelation amount as E-voucher.
But Airasia is doing harassment in so many different ways. First they don't have a customer care number If flight source or destination is not from India. They will pick phone after **-** mins and then they will ask you to chat with Ava ( a software based system) which doesn't recognises detail lot of time. Somehow you reach the right point, they will say that since the booking is done through travel agent, we can't do anything about it ( other bookings are also done by travel agent which were completely refunded by Indigo and spicejet). If we try calling Easemytrip customer support ( again takes **-** mins to pick up phone), they will say that they cannot help and only airlines can. In Ava there is a feature called talk to star agent after entering so many details multiple times. If you click on that you will just keep on waiting, God knows how long.
I also tried mailing them which somehow they reverted saying they can't do anything when they are claiming that they are allowing rescheduling (e-voucher) in the media.
They have twitter handle, when I posted on it they asked me to send to their direct message which I did and expectedly they didn't replied.
In this global crisis, some support is required from a company like Airasia which is very disappointing.
