- Pathetic and unprofessional Bus Service Open

I had booked a bus ticket on redbus.com for a Volvo bus of Laxmi Travels from Dharamshala to New Delhi on ** Feb ****. They had charged twice the amount of a normal ticket due to high demand yet the service was pathetic. To start with, the bus came in and departed late. It wasn't even a Laxmi Travels Volvo and instead a so-called deluxe bus of Amar travels. It was dirty, unkept, stinky and extremely uncomfortable. The seats didn't recline, the windows didn't close and instead were very noisy and windy in this cold. The seats were stinking and even the blanket given was very dirty. There was no water available on the bus the the staff was also extremely rude. The conductor was smoking inside the bus and also refused to listen to the customers if they asked for something. I booked a ladies seat yet a male passenger was made to sit next to me in an overnight bus. I was traveling solo and this was a great matter of concern yet nobody heard me. My bag was thrown in the dirty storage behind the bus where it got bugs clinged to it. The bus stopped at random bus stops to fill in random passengers and hence the delay of more than * hours. All in all, it was a pathetic experience and rather a harrasment. I asked for a refund and a strict action against the travel agency yet I was compensates for Rs *** as an apology amount by redbus and my ticket was closed with this resolution. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable.
