Complaint filed against: Zomato
Ordered food online on 24 November 2018 from zomato with order number 1280178717. After about 1 hour it shows an error saying restaurant cancelled my order. Checked with the restaurant they said order was dispatched 30 minutes ago. Checked with zomato helpline, they responded by saying I was not available at my location and my phone was not reachable which was not the case as I was in my apartment with lights on and phone in network coverage. After about 20 minutes I reciece a call from delivery guy as he mistook my number for some restaurant. I enquired why was my order cancelled he said the call centre had called me and could not reach me moreover he added that the delivery guys never gets a customers phone number and call is routed through the call centre. I asked zomato to give some proof regarding the customer care calling me. I get a absurd response. The delivery guys agreed on the phone he know my apartment name and flat number.
Resolution Demanded: An apology letter from company official, Get refund or credit for your purchase
