- Package not delivered for 2 months and asking for Fraudulent extra charges due to delay caused by th Open
So I don't think words will enough to explain the kind of low levels that FedEx has stooped to to dupe their customers.
I paid roughly **k INR for a 'Priority Mail' shipment from China to India with AWB ************ which was to be delivered to me in *-* days. Yet, here I am ** days later still waiting for my shipment and having undergone serious losses due to time delay and not to mention the mental trauma due to FedEx need to resort to dirty tricks to dupe their customers. This is the sequence of events:
*. Shipment arrives and goes into custom clearance which takes over ** days because the FedEx team get in touch in their own sweet time ** days after the Custom query has been raised.
*. Even then I submit the docs next day itself after which the FedEx team again goes AWOL.
*. After sending emails to them almost daily all I get is either no response or that team members are conveniently on leave for weeks on end while my shipment is abandoned.
*. Finally shipment is cleared after * months causing me loss of thousands in business and now FedEx wants to charge me another appx **k INR in warehouse charges for a delay that they have caused.
*. On contesting this with a senior member of their team they promise to look into this and investigate.
*. After again my emails are ignored for days and weeks and finally I see on the tracking info that shipment is being returned to shipper - without any intimation to me when they promised to get back on an update with their investigation. But shipment is being returned because I refuse to pay their fraud charges and they have no answer on why the delay was caused by their team.
I HAVE EVIDENCE OF ALL OF THE ABOVE POINTS WHICH I AM GOING TO ATTACH HERE.
I am loss of words as to what level they have gone to and I want to be compensated for not only the shipment charges that I have paid but more importantly for the * months time loss and mental trauma I have endured in dealing with this level of Fraud.
