I had ordered an Electronic gadget on Amazon Prime Sale on *th of August.
On **th of August, Product tracking status was "Out For Delivery". Status continued to be the same for next * week but I have not received any call or message nor it's delivered to the given address.
Meanwhile I contacted Amazon support several times, they had been only telling me to wait and they will follow up with the courier partner and will update me. They didn’t update anything and not even provided delivery agent’s contact details.
After a week the tracking status has been changed that its being returned to seller.
Within this duration support agents kept telling me to wait and they will update me within ** hours. The status could be wrong and I will receive the product. I have not received any update after many ** hours time they asked me for. This kept happening again and again. Every time I call, after describing everything to a new support agent, they ask ** hours wait to get the update on it. And its the endless loop going on and on and they never update for just anything.
Now they are saying sorry and the only solution they are providing is my money is safe and I will get the full refund (only after product reaches back successfully).
Now they are giving the reason that it was either damaged or Barcode was incorrect.
How come, the barcode identified after product was out for delivery. How it crossed several location points and reached at the destination city when the barcode was incorrect? These are the shit excuses they are giving now.
Followings are the impact of this:
I had been waiting for a month for prime sale, so that I can order a newly launched model in prime sale.
I have ordered the product within * minutes of * Days Prime Sale start time which was also a prepaid order.
Waited another month to receive the product.
Now I have to wait another month to get my money back.
Now I can't get the same product in same price again.
Because that newly launched model is not available on any other platform and in local market.
Even If I get to order it again from amazon, I will have to pay more for the same product and the whole process will take another * months approximately.
I have spent many hours in communicating with Amazon support agents with no support from them because they didn't follow up the delivery of the product even after several complaints. This time impacted my own business and so much of mental frustration. I had to bear this all and will have to bear more on it when I was nowhere wrong and at the end I get nothing.
As per their policy, they provide better service to their Prime member especially in delivery of the products.
I have been facing similar issues in every *nd or *rd order from amazon despite being prime member.
Now, I am telling them that I don’t want any refund, I want the product which I had ordered on prime sale to be delivered at my given address as soon as possible. They are assuring me a complete refund. Why the hell would I order if I wanted a refund.
I want the product, not the refund. As soon as possible.
