On **th Sep we booked an Ola Cab for an outstation trip (CRN **********) from Kochi to Arimbur, Thrissur (both from and to in Kerala) with a Mini cab at Rs.**/km (shown in Ola cabs website as the rate for * hours (bill says * hours) round trip of about *** kms, at the timing of booking - screenshot attached). When the trip ended (*** km round trip), the bill issued was for Rs.**** (bill attached) with base fare of Rs.****(displayed as ***km***/km - not sure why ***kms) + extra distance charge of Rs.****.** (no idea of what this is and how this is arrived at) + driver allowance of Rs.*** + Taxes of Rs.***.*. The per distance cost is now at Rs.**/km and not Rs.**/km as displayed at the time of booking. I had intended to pay using credit card, but once the driver ended the trip Rs.**** was deducted from Ola Postpaid without my authorization and I had to pay the rest (Rs.****) to the driver in cash. I tried * hours that day and multiple times on **th and **th Sep to reach Ola Cabs' **/* customer service with out the call getting connected even once. I raised a complaint on **th Sep itself through Ola App and received a mail stating my request was received with ticket number *********. I responded back to that email with details of the issue. It has been * days and I have not received any response.
It feels that Olacabs
*. will display one rate on their portal at the time of booking and then charge you at a very high rate at the end of the trip
*. decide the total distance of the trip at their will
*. will pay themselves from Ola Postpaid for the erroneous bill generated
*. gives no option for the customer to raise a concern or ask a query on the bill - either through tele or email
