I have ordered a t shirt from bewkoof.com. It was a prepaid order and I cancelled it the next day itself. it’s been more than a month and I haven’t got any refund. After trying to call the customer care no. ********** mentioned on the site https://cashkaro.com/blog/bewakoof-customer-care-numbers-bewakoof-toll-free-helpline-number-contact-number/*****. A representative picked up my call after tedious efforts to reach them. He asked me about the order id and I told him accordingly. He asked me about my bank account no., my debit card no and expiry date of my card. I refused to give him the details as I have already provided the details at the time of placing the order plus no customer care asks you about the card no. And expiry date of your card. I found it weird and suspicious & I asked him to tell me the details and I will confirm if the details are correct or not. After denying providing the details he asked for he misbehaved and accused me of being over smart and told that they will immediately make the refund only if I will provide them with these details otherwise is should hang up the call and asked me not to waste his time. I asked him to behave politely and he said, "don’t waste my time and disconnected the call" and after that I tried the same no. So many time but couldn’t reach them.
I am pretty sure that this was a fraudulent activity and so many customers might have been fooled by this and lost confidence and trust in the products and app/website and defaming the company he should be penalized and punished. . Or if it was true to be the representative so kindly hire a good staff to handle such customer issues and expect an apology from him for his unkind behavior.
I request you to go to the depth of this and should protect other persons interest as well from being caught in this trap.
