I booked a room through cleartrip, they charged me Rupees ****.** for * days stay in Munsyari at Hotel Vijay Mount View Resort. They gave me the confirmation email and a message in my WhatsApp stating that the room is booked. So, I had conversation with one of their employee named Amol and he said that the room which you've booked is not available, now i have to cancel the booking and have to book a new room. In this they will refund me Rupees **** and will deduct around **** rupees. When asked why their site was showing that room and why they booked a room when it's not available he was speechless. Then he said that the deduction is automatic and I will get Rupees **** only. I told him that I'm not going to cancel the booking because it's all their fault and if they want to cancel the booking then I want my complete refund. He transferred my call to his senior and he forced me to cancel the booking or otherwise the refund ( Rupees **** ) which they are giving will not be given, he means to say that I will not get any refund from them or the hotelier. Please help me to resolve this issue as they already charged me and now they aren't providing me any services... it's all scam.
