I had booked a ticket on **th July,**** throguh Air through M/s. Goibibo under "Zero Cancellation Booking Scheme of it" from Mumbai to Kolkata scheduled to be departed at **.** Hrs from Mumbai and arrival at **.** Hrs. Kolkata on **th Aug,**.
As I was in Bangalore on *th Aug and due to flood enroute, the road traffic was suspended. As a result, I had no alternative than to cancel the ticket on *th Aug at *.** PM.
On cancellation, I am shocked to know that I am not eligible to claim "Zero Cancellation Booking" as the ticket cancelled is in ** hours window. This was not known to me and consequently not acceptable on the following grounds :
*) There is no such mention in any communication sent by M/s. Goibibo in confirmation of booking or thereafter. This is disclosed only during cancellation of booking.
*) As per M/s. Goibibo, I have ticked the terms & conditions while opting it, I am firm that these cancellation and Zero Cancellation Booking terms must be sent after booking the ticket in writing to the Customer, as being highlighted normally.
*) This Zero Cancellation Booking Scheme is reflected only during booking the flight ticket at M/s. Goibibo and subsequently the details are nowhere reflected nor informed to Customers lateron by M/s. Goibibo. Customer gets shocked only after disallowing benefits of it. This is pure malpractice.
Before approaching you, I had escalated this issue with M/s. Goibibo's Grievance Office, but in vain. All the relevant documents are enclosed herewith.
In view of above, I want my Grievance to be redressed as under :
*) Refund of Rs. *,***/- by M/s. Goibibo immediately,
*) Rs. *,***/- towards mental pain, clerikage and escalation charges.
In case my grievance is not redressed to my satisfaction, I reserve my right to file the complaint at Consumer Forum, the costs of which to be in account of M/s. Goibibo.
